Vernon graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and also has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports science from the Edith Cowan University in 2011. Competing in sports including basketball, gridiron, tennis and soccer, he was first introduced to Physiotherapy at a young age through his own injuries and quickly developed a fascination for the human body and the process of rehabilitation. Vernon has had experience working in private practice settings, with semi-professional and professional sporting teams, aged care facilities and hospital settings.

What he loves most about being a Physiotherapist is setting goals with his patients and helping them make progress towards achieving them under his guidance. Furthermore, seeing his patients continue to take steps towards improving their overall health, fitness and mobility, leading to a better quality of life. Happy, pain-free patient = Happy Vernon!

Vernon is always striving to keep up with the latest research evidence to ensure his patients are receiving the most up to date strategies and techniques for their conditions. Most recently he has completed a qualification for dry needling to assist with pain management and has obtained a certificate in strength and conditioning for Physiotherapists.

Outside of the Physiotherapy room Vernon can usually be found on a Basketball court or in the gym. He also enjoys quiet time reading, doing escape rooms and painting.
